#RIPBabaSule: Nigerian skit maker dies while filming video




Nigerian comedian and skit maker, Suleiman Abubakar, popularly known as Baba Sule, has died while filming a video for his social media platform. He was 32 years old.



According to his manager, Musa Ibrahim, Baba Sule collapsed on the set of his latest skit on Thursday evening in Lagos. He was rushed to the hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival.

Baba Sule was known for his hilarious and satirical videos, which often poked fun at the social and political issues in Nigeria. He had over 2 million followers on Instagram and YouTube, where he regularly posted his skits.

His fans and fellow comedians have taken to social media to mourn his death and pay tribute to his legacy. Many of them used the hashtag #RIPBabaSule to express their condolences and share their favorite videos of him.

Some of the celebrities who paid tribute to Baba Sule include Basketmouth, Bovi, Broda Shaggi, Lasisi Elenu, and Taaooma. They described him as a talented, creative, and humble person, who brought joy and laughter to many people.

Baba Sule is survived by his wife and two children. His family has not yet announced the details of his burial.
